Passion and Creativity is what drives Hair & Soul the boutique hair salon in Maroubra. The team at Hair and Soul are driven by our passion of making our clients feel better then when they walked into our salon. We strive to capture each client’s unique look to ensure they feel more confident and beautiful.

The name Hair & Soul came about due to so many of our clients loving the look we create but also the deep Soul Talks that are shared during our Colour and Styling sessions. Conversations and laughter that we absolutely love to be a part of. Hence the name Hair & Soul, so we help our clients to look great on the outside whilst we share a little soul with every client.

Our specialty

Custom Colourists and Stylists. Every single client is so different and every desired look is a unique creation. So we aim to deliver a completely personalised service that helps achieve the look you most desire.

We consider what we do as artistry and therefore continue to evolve our skills with the latest in fashion and latest techniques. It is through this as evolving artists we believe a piece of our soul goes into every client that leaves our salon and that is something we are incredibly passionate about.

Our Staff

Adrienne Varga (Adriana) – Owner, Creative Director

Originally from Hungary, she left cold winters behind for good in 2001 and adopted the warm sunshine and Maroubra as her home.

Here’s a few of Adrienne’s loves:

Healthy lifestyle
Animals, of which she also has 2, a British Shorthair cat Mango and a British Bulldog Mr. Cash who are salon favourites when they occasionally visit the salon.
Good laughs (which happens daily in our salon)
Good long walks
Travelling anywhere!
Sunshine

When it comes to her career, Adrienne loves what she does and is always on the look for something new that she can introduce to her clients. But where she really comes to life is her passion for colour correction and balayage, of which she truly is a specialist.

She also loves working with clients on precision haircuts and sexy blowdrys.

Nikoletta Varga ( Niki ) – Senior Stylist

Certain passions often run in families, and a passion for Hair runs deep here, as Niki is Adrianna’s sister and is one of our senior stylists.

Niki chanced a visit out to her sister and after one trip was enough to leave the cold behind and follow Adriana to this beautiful sunny haven.

Niki also loves nothing more than spending quality time with good friends over good food and “great” wine.

Her passion and flair for hair is highlighted with her creative skills with foils and Balayage , and she also enjoys anything to do with colour and Keratin treatment.

Jacinta – our Saturday help

Every Saturday we are lucky to have Jacinta join the team. Jacinta is one of our loyal client’s daughter, who comes in every week to help keep our our tools and salon clean. She also has developed a great skill in making a perfect tea or coffee.

We absolutely love to have her around.
